An estrogen agonist/antagonist which is used by athletes in post-cycle therapy. The compound has teh ability to increase production of follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone in the male bodies and holds capacity to restore a balance in hormone levels.
Is used in medicine for the treatment of metastatic breast carcinoma, especially in postmenopausal patients, cancer of the endometrium, kidney soft tissue sarcoma, anovulatory infertility, postpartum agalactiа, oligospermia, pituitary tumors. In women at risk for breast cancer it reduces the morbidity by a half.

Headache, confusion, problems with vision, loss of appetite, increased thirst, muscle weakness, confusion, and feeling tired or restless, unusual pain in the pelvic area, blurred vision, speech, or balance, chest pain, sudden cough, wheezing, rapid breathing, fast heart rate, pain, swelling, warmth, unusual bleeding (nose, mouth, vagina, or rectum), fever and chills.
Not recommended in case of hypersensitivity to the drug, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, hyperlipidemia, hypercalcemia, cataracts, pregnancy and thrombophlebitis.
