Steroidal aromatase inhibitor that act by by decreasing the amount of estrogen produced by the body. It works by limiting the conversion of Testosterone into estrogen and the average rate of estrogen suppression is 85%. The drug also reduces the estradiol levels of about 50%, as well as considerably increases the testosterone levels.

Therapeutic Indication

Is used in ER-positive breast cancer in addition to surgery and/or radiation in post-menopausal women.It is often given to women whose cancer has progressed even after surgery or radiation.

Aromaxyl Side Effects

Headache, hot flashes, increased or decreased appetite, increased sweating, joint pain, nausea, stomach pain or upset, tiredness, trouble sleeping, anxiety, back, joint, muscle, or limb pain, constipation, coughing, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, flu-like symptoms, hair loss, weight gain and vomiting.

Aromaxyl Contraindications/Precautionary Measures

Not recommended in case of hypersensitivity and allergic reaction to the drug. Requires careful use in patients with moderate and marked liver disorders or those with severe kidney disease. The drug may also may weaken the bone mineral density. Women cannot use it in case of pregnancy and in lactation period.

Overdosage

There are no registered cases of overdosage.

Aromaxyl Stack/Cycle

Is used during cycles to lower estrogen (estradiol) and raising Testosterone levels. Is used during steroids cycles as well as in post cycle therapy. It is usual stacks are with Testostoxyl Cyipionate, Dianoxyl and Nandrolona D during cycles and with Clomed and Tamoximed in PCT.
