Nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor that works by inhibiting the synthesis of estrogen. Arimidex lowers serum estradiol concentrations and help to restore the levels of testosterone. Athletes and bodybuilders use it as a part of their steroid cycle to decrease and prevent symptoms of excess estrogens like water retention and gynecomastia.

Therapeutic Indication

Used for treatment of breast cancer after surgery, as well as for metastasis in both pre and post-menopausal women. The drug inhibits the conversion of androgens to estrogens in peripheral tissues.

0,5-1 mg per day.

0,25-1 mg per day.

Arimidex Side Effects

Tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, throat, or tongue; unusual hoarseness, burning, numbness, tingling sensation, calf or leg pain, swelling, chest pain; confusion; fainting; fever, chills, frequent or painful urination, peeling skin, persistent bone pain, nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain.

Arimidex Contraindications/Precautionary Measures

Not recommended for women in the period of reproduction, In case of premenopausal women; during pregnancy and lactation; in case of advanced renal insufficiency, moderate or advanced hepatic insufficiency and hypersensitivity to drug. Requires careful use in patients with moderate and marked liver disorders or those with severe kidney disease. Not recommended for use by children. Anastrozole also may weaken the bone mineral density and has effects on ability to drive and use machines due to possible somnolence, asthenia and dizziness effects.

Overdosage

There are no registered cases of overdosage.

Arimidex Stack/Cycle

Is used during cycles as well as part of post cycle therpay to restore normal testosterone levels and prevent negative side effects of cycles. Prior these purposes it is taken with Dianabol 20 and Cypionat 250. In order to halt estrogen conversion it is taken with Finasterida.
